Following breakfast, you’ll retrace your route across the Dochu La Pass and continue your journey through the beautiful Wang Chhu and Paro Chhu valleys as you make your way back to Paro. Along the way, you’ll stop at Simtokha Dzong, Bhutan’s oldest fortress and an important center for Dzongkha language studies, followed by a visit to Ta Dzong, the former watchtower now serving as the National Museum of Bhutan. Here, you can admire ancient thangkas, traditional armor, religious relics, and cultural artifacts.
